An on-site water test for hardness and Iron is conducted. A water sample of treated and untreated water is collected to be sent to 3rd party accredited water testing lab.
The lab results help us determine the water chemistry we're dealing with and assist in selecting the appropriate equipment to treat your water.
Water test will also confirm how your existing system is performing.
Point of Use Filters are used for different applications such as sediment filter for particulate matter or a carbon filter for bad smell or taste in your water system. The filters need to be changed out every 3-6 months depending on the your water
chemistry.
How Often Should a UV Lamp Be Changed?
To maintain your UV water disinfection system, the UV lamp should be replaced on schedule.
Most UV lamps are designed to run continuously for about 9,000 hours or 12 months before losing their effectiveness. Unlike regular light bulbs, UV lamps do not burn out, they solarize; the light gets weak and loses its ability to disinfect the water source.
This is to assist with ensuring the water softener is working properly.
If there is no salt in the brine tank, the softener can not do its job; it's like if a car with no gas.
This service is usually performed in conjunction with filter and/or a UV bulb replacement.
This is a process that is performed to eliminate any bacterial intrusion found in your well. A biological water test will show if there is any bacteria present.
